Furry Friends
Stan had a business breakfast meeting at a restaurant in Morgan Hill several years back. When he returned to work, he called to say he saw my picture today ~ it was on a donation can at the cash register when he paid the bill. I had joined Furry Friends (a program that brought animals to rest homes so the patients could pet and hold an animal, since so many had to leave their pets behind) and they used my picture, holding a cat, to advertise for donations. I had no idea…and he didn’t think it was too funny to see his wife’s picture asking for a hand-out. I thought it was hysterical.
