Punt
When I was getting my divorce, my lawyer (who I never met in person) said “it’s fourth down & we have to punt”…what the hell did that mean. Apparently it’s a football term meaning basically – you’re screwed, you’re giving up the ball. Or in my case, you’re giving up the silver set your Aunt Kaye gave you.
Guess when the divorce was final I should have shouted “Touchdown”.
